Drug Utilization Review

Our prescription Drug Utilization Review (DUR) program works with our quality assurance programs to achieve quality care through a disease management approach.

The program is designed to identify and correct potentially harmful prescribing patterns. It also helps to enhance community prescribing standards and detect patterns of possible fraud and abuse. Health Partners Plans is committed to continuous quality improvement. This includes annual evaluation of the DUR program, resulting in frequent improvements and a program that is responsive to the needs of our members and providers.
